About Saltash Tutors
Saltash Tutors brings together qualified, experienced teachers offering small secondary maths groups and individual tuition from primary school through GCSE and A Level. We teach face-to-face in Saltash and online, depending on the tutor and subject, with lessons shaped around your child’s needs.
Our Founder
I’m Sandra, founder of Saltash Tutors. I taught in Plymouth schools for 20 years before becoming an independent maths tutor.
I teach small secondary maths groups for Years 7–11, face-to-face in my Saltash classroom and online. I look closely at how each student works, explain ideas in manageable steps and help them build confidence through practice and regular review.
I have experience supporting students with anxiety, autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia. We can discuss what helps your child feel comfortable and ready to learn.
In 2026, I was Highly Commended by The Tutors’ Association for outstanding tutoring.
